Every product sold by Level Up Games is guaranteed authentic. This guarantee applies to all items we carry, including Pokémon cards, sealed Pokémon TCG products, other trading card games, video games, and collectibles.

Before items are offered for sale, we evaluate authenticity using industry-standard practices and experience. Verification may include:
Graded Card Authenticity
Graded cards we sell (PSA, CGC, BGS, etc.) are authenticated by the original grading company in addition to our own verification. The grading slab itself is a third-party authentication, providing customers with an additional layer of confidence on top of our authenticity guarantee.
Genuine Nintendo Hardware
All consoles, handhelds, and hardware we sell are genuine, manufacturer-produced units. We do not sell modded, jailbroken, region-locked workaround, or counterfeit hardware.
Used consoles are tested before sale, and condition details such as stick drift, battery health, screen condition, and included accessories are disclosed on each listing.
This applies to all Nintendo platforms we carry — Switch, Switch Lite, Switch OLED, Switch 2, 3DS family, DS family, Game Boy era hardware, and other classic Nintendo systems.
Licensed vs Unlicensed Products
In some cases, we may carry items that are not officially licensed by the original brand owner. When this occurs, it will always be clearly stated in the product description.
Examples of unlicensed or novelty items may include fan-made or parody products such as (Eif Baby, Pokéderp, etc.).
These items are never represented as official merchandise and are labeled transparently so customers can make informed purchasing decisions.
Foreign-Language Product Authenticity
We carry select foreign-language Pokémon products, including Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Indonesian releases. These items are subject to the same verification standards as English products.
Chinese Pokémon cards may be produced in Simplified Chinese or Traditional Chinese formats. We verify sourcing, packaging, and print characteristics before offering these products for sale.
Foreign-language products can be one of the most common areas where customers worry about counterfeit Pokémon cards. Our sourcing channels in Japan, Korea, and China are the foundation of our ability to confidently offer these products.
International Products You Can Trust
We proudly carry Pokémon products from multiple regions, including English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Indonesian releases. International products can be especially confusing for collectors, which is why we take extra care when sourcing and verifying these items.
Authenticity on Trade-Ins
We do not accept proxy, unofficial, or counterfeit cards through trade. All trade-in items are evaluated for authenticity before any payment or store credit is issued.

In the rare event that an item purchased from Level Up Games is verified as not authentic, we will provide a replacement, refund, or partial refund depending on the situation. We stand behind what we sell because trust and transparency are essential to long-term collecting relationships.
