What Guaranteed Authentic Means
Guaranteed Authentic means that all products sold by Level Up Games are verified to be genuine, officially produced items unless clearly stated otherwise.
This guarantee applies to:
- Pokémon cards and sealed products
- Other trading card games
- Collectibles and related merchandise
- Both in-store and online purchases
How We Verify Products
Before items are offered for sale, we evaluate authenticity using industry-standard practices and experience. Verification may include:
- Inspection of print quality, materials, and construction
- Comparison against known authentic references
- Evaluation of packaging, seals, and manufacturing details
- Experience-based review of foreign-language products
Items that cannot be confidently verified are not sold as authentic products.
Licensed vs Unlicensed Products
In some cases, we may carry items that are not officially licensed by the original brand owner. When this occurs, it will always be clearly stated in the product description.
Examples of unlicensed or novelty items may include fan-made or parody products such as (Eif Baby, Pokéderp, etc.).
These items are never represented as official merchandise and are labeled transparently so customers can make informed purchasing decisions.
Foreign-Language Product Authenticity
We carry select foreign-language products, including Japanese, Korean and Chinese releases. These items are subject to the same verification standards as English products.
Chinese Pokémon cards may be produced in Simplified Chinese or Traditional Chinese formats. We verify sourcing, packaging, and print characteristics before offering these products for sale.

In the rare event that an item purchased from Level Up Games is verified as not authentic, we stand behind our promise and will make it right. This may include a refund, replacement, or store credit depending on the situation.
