Each starter deck comes with a constructed 70-card deck ready to play right out of the box, a game sheet, and 3 Friendships Begin booster packs (5 cards each) for a chance to pull rare cards across 9 rarities including ER, RR, CR, GR, SR, and parallel art versions. Six starter deck types are available, each built around a different pony: Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack, and Fluttershy. Players compete to complete their pony's story before their opponent. The card artwork captures the fairy-tale charm of the animated series with bright colors and enchanting details.
