The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time returns as a full remake for Nintendo Switch 2, twenty-eight years after it redefined what a 3D adventure could be. The adventure is the one you remember — Link leaves the Kokiri Forest, pulls the Master Sword, and loses seven years of his life to it — but almost everything around it has been rebuilt. Cutscenes are fully voiced for the first time, the score is orchestral, and the dialogue has been expanded. Control has been modernised properly: a free camera, a jump button, a roll and dash, and a rebuilt Threads of Time menu that finally makes it clear what you are meant to do next. The neatest addition uses the Switch 2's microphone — you can hum an ocarina melody instead of pressing the buttons for it.
