9 R.I.P. sequel continues Otomate's supernatural otome series, in which Misa Isshiki's ability to see what other people cannot has never once made her life easier. The original ran on urban legends, school hauntings and the awkward business of deciding what to do after graduation, with the small complication that Misa's survival depended on which path she took. The sequel keeps that structure and adds to it: nine routes in total, two of which continue directly from the first game's Heavenly and Godly endings, plus new characters who did not exist before. It is a visual novel throughout — you read, you choose, and the choices decide who lives.
