Akira Toriyama's character designs and Koichi Sugiyama's score carry a hundred-hour turn-based adventure built the way the series has always built them: a party of misfits, an overworld worth wandering, and a story that keeps going after the credits you thought were the end. The S edition adds fully orchestrated music, Japanese voice acting, a 2D retro mode that redraws the whole game in 16-bit, and side stories for each party member — all of it in one package on Nintendo Switch 2.
