Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen is the expanded edition of Capcom's open-world action RPG, and it is not a straight port — the Switch 2 release carries the base game and the new Dark Arisen content together. You play the Arisen, marked by a dragon that took your heart, travelling a world where the fastest route is on foot and the night is genuinely dangerous. Your Pawns come with you: AI companions built by other players, who learn from what they have seen elsewhere and warn you about the monster ahead because they fought one last week in somebody else's game. The new content adds Forsaken Dominion and the snowbound land of Norgan in the north, where Eir and the secret of the undying Fallen Dragon are waiting, along with twelve dungeon challenges and new hairstyles and tattoos.
