The set shifts the spotlight to the fully evolved Paldean starters with Meowscarada ex, Skeledirge ex, and Quaquaval ex, while the four Treasures of Ruin make their debut as Pokémon ex with Chien-Pao ex, Chi-Yu ex, Ting-Lu ex, and Wo-Chien ex. Pikachu also joins as a Pokémon ex, and Forretress, Slowking, and Dedenne appear as Tera Pokémon ex.
